Join us on December 5 for the 2015 Homes for the Holidays Tour of Homes. The tour lasts from 1:00 p.m. through 5 p.m. Tour booklets can be picked up at Heyward Street United Methodist Church on the Day of the Tour.
Funds raised by the Tour have been used by the neighborhoods’ four schools to enhance students' educational experiences. For example, funds have been used by Rosewood Elementary for field experiences, novels for classroom libraries, technology such as document cameras and video cameras. Dreher High School used funds from the Tour to conduct an after-school prep program for the High School Assessment Program and End of Course Tests. The program really paid off as Dreher’s students made some great gains and ended up first in the district in almost every category. Dreher has also used the funds to help buy beautiful new performance costumes for its growing chorus, steel drums, iPads, and plants for its prom garden..
